I leave today for San Francisco. I have been in Miami for a month now and it has been a great time. I got to see a lot of old friends from high school and most importantly, spent a lot of time with my family. While here, I worked with my Aunt, who opened up a sandwich stand in the Design District in Miami (Pictured Above). She needed help working an even called Art Walk, in which all the studios in the area open up from 7-10 and hundreds of people come to check out art and eat some good food. We had two stands going at the same time and I got to man one of them. She has the best pulled pork sandwiches in Miami according to two different newspapers. Unfortunately, I keep kosher and will never be able to taste them.

I also went to Atlanta for one night. My cousin was moving up there and needed help driving a 26ft truck with a trailer. Total length - 38ft. We left Miami Sunday morning and didn’t even make it to Atlanta, we had to stop in a small town called Tifton to sleep. The next morning we departed at 5:30am and 3.5 hours later, arrived at his apartment. Unloaded loaded everything and then took off to head back to Miami. We didn’t get home until 5AM tuesday morning.

I got to go fishing with my cousin Ricky and my Tio Al. We caught 1 shark, 2 Dolphin, and 1 Tuna. We through the shark back but ate the rest. That tuna is what I blogged earlier. Ricky’s wife, Ronit, studied photography in college and was REALLY into it. They were cleaning up their garage and found like 6 cameras and said I could have one. I chose this one (pictured above), although broken at the time of inheritance.  I actually fixed the camera on my own and am going to shoot my first roll while in San Fran to test it out. It also came with the telephoto lens. And the best part - She also gave me two enlargers and a developing machine. I can now shoot, develop, and print all my own photos. Where ever my next house may be, it will have a dark room. So stoked for San Fran - and the day after I get back, i go to Puerto Rico to work at my Uncles store. More info on that trip later.
