So my trip began in Philadelphia (more photos will come from this leg of the trip but this was the first roll of film i got processed and therefore will just put these photos down) It was halloween weekend and some of my favorite people in the world were together in my brothers small one bedroom apt in Society Hill. He lives 3 blocks from Independence Hall and The Liberty Bell, literally. I met some pretty great people. One randomly at city hall who I still maintain contact with and this she’s cool as hell. After Philly, i went back to NY for 2 hours before flying to Miami. During those 2 hours, i met with two people who i love so much, Casey Callahan and Caitlin Larwood. After a brief meeting, i went to miami and arrived late in the night. This following photo happened the day after I arrived. I met up with my friend Eric who I have known since high school and has been a best friend ever since. He was randomly going lobstering and asked if i wanted to join. I agreed and we dove into the middle of Biscayne bay to find lobsters at a sunken ship!!! We were catching them by hand and it was crazy. You force them into your net by poking them with a stick called a tickler. We caught some but they were all too small for keeps so we had to release them. As we returned to the marina, we found three fisherman who caught the most amazing animal i have ever seen with the naked eye. A monster built for nothing but speed and hunting. The 480 pound blue marlin seen in this photo. It was sad to see such a beautiful creature dead but amazing to see something like this up close. I will probably never have another experience like that again.
